Since 2010 Green Osprey LLC has been providing expertise for clients who are developing tools, including algorithms and sensor development, and techniques to determine the role of the environment in situational awareness for the military operations and in national security analyses for resiliency.

Methodologies to provide necessary, sufficient, and consistent weather information for customer applications, including  
• Identification of weather requirements and availability 
• Data integration of disparate observations and model results

Donna Blake, with over thirty-five years of experience in atmospheric and ocean Modeling & Simulation (M&S), has worked in academia (Florida State University, Louisiana State University, and George Mason University), government agencies (National Science Foundation and NASA), DoD laboratories (Naval Research Laboratory), and private industry in the areas of teaching, field observations, numerical weather prediction, program management and planning, and transition of projects to operations through IOC and FOC. Based on her wide-ranging experience, Dr. Blake understands the many detailed steps in gathering, processing and disseminating weather information to a diverse user community while meticulously maintaining the internal and external consistency of all environmental information. Dr. Blake earned her Ph.D. in Geosciences, (Geophysical Fluid Dynamics) from the University of Chicago and both her M.S. in Astro-Geophysics and her B.A. in Physics from the University of Colorado. Dr. Blake is active in the Military Operations Research Society (MORS), currently serving as an Advisory Director, and has served on the Board of Directors and as Vice President of Finance & Management.
